Mummy Means Business

A bunch of ladies here in Cairo got together recently to form a group called Mummy Means Business.

We are all women who are here because of our husband's jobs and just aren't satisfied with being expat wives. We all left successful careers behind in whatever country we came from and have either started businesses or want to. Our first morning coffee meeting went on until 2pm, thats how much we had to share!

We decided to have an open house to showcase our unique products and services this past Monday. I was so uncertain about who (if anyone) would turn up. I am happy to say we were absolutely heaving with people and the response was fantastic. It is very rewarding when you create something from scratch and someone is actually willing to pay money for it. Even some of the local press came to see what we were up to!

So, thanks to all my colleagues from MMB for a great day and I am looking forward to our well deserved night out.
